This page contains resources related to animal adoption in Massachusetts. The resources are divided into two groups:

• Adoption Sites (including shelters) and Events: This lists all MA organizations that physical locations and scheduled adoption times. This includes permanent sites (like shelters), as well as temporary adoption events (like adoption fairs).

• Adoption Groups (including rescues) : This lists other MA organizations that do not have physical locations or scheduled adoption times. This includes both permanent sites (like shelters that are "by appointment only") as well as groups that operate without permanent sites (like rescue groups that operate via foster homes).
